The Museums Quarter Vienna is a hot spot for the winter holiday season for people to hang out, enjoy hot cups of molded wine and listen to music. Österreich Werbung approached Strukt via Agency TBWA\Wien to come up with an online snowflake generator where users can create their own snowflakes. Additionally to that Strukt was comissioned to realise an installation to display the user generated snowflakes on facades of the MQ. The large scale video installation was up for a total of 3 weeks, every night from 5 pm to 11 pm. Every single snowflake was scheduled to fall at a specific time. Users were able to be at the MQ to see their creation in person or to follow their work online via webcam. For those who missed their snowflake at all, a link to the record of their falling flake was sent to them via e-mail.
