In the foyer of the venue Strukt realized a projection cube showcasing the new corporate design sujets. While the guests enjoyed drinks and food photos were taken and placed onto the cube with headlines by the agency in real time. After a while, when the party progressed, the cube turned into a audio-reactive equalizer, a disco-cube, controlled by Strukt VJs.

Part of the media content were 5 short video-features of people talking about the diverse aspects of Lower Austria, which functioned as visual jingles during the event. The audio tracks of those statements were also used for a sound installation in the driveway of the location. Since diversity is an important keyword in the new brand strategy, all the guests were included in the visuals in a photo-slide-show stating their individual thoughts of Lower Austria that was produced on location.

Since the inventors of the Tagtool come from Lower Austria, they were a perfect contribution to the event, showing how different the understanding of art can be in comparison to the very traditional views one might have in Lower Austria.


The “Reitschule” of Castle Grafenegg was equipped with 7 screens showing 2 different streams simultaniously.

The screens showed various pictures and videos of Lower Austria, contained in one graphic system and style.

The Tagtool performance grew in action over the duration of the event.

Tagtool Artists were working with imagery of Lower Austria and created free interpretations of the landscape.

Despite the fact that the attendents of the DLD are used to advanced media installations, the globe projection managed to create a wow-effect, generating many interested reactions.

With the Media Globe, Mercedes-Benz was able to present their innovations in research of environmental-friendly technologies in an striking way.

With a diameter of 4 meters and a seamless, undistorted, spherical projection, the Strukt Media Globe was an impressive and inspiring experience for the visitors.

The Media Globe is a visual installation featuring a globe and six projectors, showing a fully, seamless and warpfree image. With a diameter of four meters, the Media Globe is an impressive presentation tool and light installation.

Thanks to a unique projection-system it is now possible to completely fill a sphere with moving images and interactive content. This technique opens up new possibilities to display information. Videos, images, text, panorama photos, spherical textures, interactive content and much more can be presented in a new stunning way. The Media Globe is based on an idea by Hans Reitz and was initially developed by MESO Digital Interiors and Strukt’s
technical director Thomas Hitthaler.

This 3D-visualization shows the configuration of the Media Globe, and how it can be combined with an architectural projection using the same realtime distortion techniques.

A multifunctional computersystem running software especially programmed for this installation allows the use of any kind of content. It can be a simple playback of images and videos or a complex realtime visualization of database driven information. The possibilities of what to show are sheer endless.

Showing this installation at product presentation, trade fairs or other events guarantees an extraordinary experience: an impressive, bright sphere with a seamless image all over it, floating in mid-air.

As an art piece the Media Globe can reflect various aspects of its surroundings. The visual shown on the globe can be effected by sound, light, movements of people or any other interaction that one can think of.
